I was driving back home from the grocery store when I decided to stop by the mailboxes to get the mail. Lo and behold … right next to the mailboxes there was a ripe salmonberry!
The deer have been having coyote consternations this Spring, so they haven’t been around as much. Hence, the uneaten salmonberry.
Now I wouldn’t wish harm or misfortune on the deer for anything, but I have to admit when I saw that beautiful uneaten salmonberry I couldn’t help but be just the slightest bit glad for the coyote consternations.
