“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” – Matthew 5:5

If we wonder how we can be blessed??
The answer: Meekness and humility.
God is a meek and humble God.
“Your attitude should be the same as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross!” – Philippians 2:5-8
Jesus himself tells us: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” – Matthew 11:28-29
In both of the above Scripture passages we are instructed to “have the same attitude as Christ” and to “learn from Jesus.” Particularly in regards to meekness and humility. Jesus was meek and humble. We are to follow his example and to be meek and humble as well.
“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” – James 4:6
