Answer: Be merciful towards others.
God is a merciful God.
“Because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved.” – Ephesians 2:4
“Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.” – Micah 7:18
God is a merciful God.
When we repent of our sin and receive God’s mercy and forgiveness, God gives us the Holy Spirit to live inside us and to transform us to make us more and more like himself. God – who is merciful – is transforming us to be merciful just like him.
God blesses those who are becoming more and more like himself.
God blesses the merciful.
