A couple of weeks ago, when the bear raided our hummingbird feeders, he left a big mess of sugary paw-prints all over the front porch. I went out with containers of hot water and cleaned the sugary mess up.
However, I accidentally missed one set of sugary paw-prints over on the very edge of the front porch steps.
For the next week, whenever hubby would step out the front door to go to work each morning, there would be the sugary paw-print right there on the edge of the front porch step. Something about the weather conditions of early morning made the sugary paw-print stand out visibly.
I couldn’t help but think how people’s presence in our lives leave “sugary paw-prints” (so to speak) all over our heart. Their friendship is such a blessing and is so “sweet.”
Yesterday in church, hubby and I were standing there singing during the worship time. As the worship time concluded and we were all sitting down for the sermon, hubby and I suddenly became aware that the couple two rows in front of us were friends which we haven’t seen in over 3 years!
As soon as service was over, we reconnected and gave each other the biggest hugs! It was so good to see them again! Their friendship in our lives has left “sugary paw-prints” all over our hearts!
Being able to reconnect with them was such a huge blessing to both hubby and me! It totally made my day!

This past weekend my daughter-in-law came over to hang out, and we made Oreo Cream Pies together.
We had such a fun time chatting and laughing and making pies together. My daughter-in-law left “sugary paw-prints” all over my heart!

My daughter’s good friend lives and works overseas … but she is back stateside for a brief visit. Yesterday my daughter had a chance to hang out with her good friend, catching up on life and chatting together. It was “sugary paw-prints” of sweet friendship!
