God instructs us in Ephesians 5:1-2: “Be imitators of God, and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us.”
Obviously this is God’s will for us. So, this is what we pray!
“God, I really want to love. But I just don’t have any ‘wind in my sail’ right now. Not only that … there aren’t even any sails on the windmill. That’s the way I feel right now. The windmill is supposed to provide power, so others can be supported. But God, I’m so empty right now. I don’t have anything left to support the people you’ve given me to love and support.
“Please God, please put the ‘sails’ back on my windmill. Please God, please give me some ‘wind in my sails.’ I really do want to love. Please God help me.”

“May the God of peace equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him.” – Hebrews 13:20-21
So, this is what we pray!
“God, I trust that you will equip me with everything good for doing your will. God, I believe that you will work in my life what is pleasing to you. God, I trust. God, I believe. Yes! And amen!”
