I was standing at the kitchen sink doing dishes when I noticed out the kitchen window and off back in the forest a bright splash of color. I wonder what that is? When I had a free moment, I went to investigate.
Lo and behold … look what I discovered!
According to my Seek Nature App this is: “Sweet William.” I’m guessing it must be from some wildflower seeds I scattered back in this area 5 years ago. I had thought those wildflower seeds had been a waste of effort at the time. Nothing at all had come from those wildflower seeds.
You never know what might come from “seeds” we scatter throughout life. Those “seeds of kindness” we “scattered” might have felt like a total waste at the time. But you never know … 5 years later something beautiful might be “blooming” because of those “seeds.”
