I came across something interesting this week that I’m totally going to try – it’s a homemade rosemary/lavender cleaning spray. You use ½ distilled white vinegar and ½ water … then you add fresh rosemary sprigs and fresh lavender sprigs and let it sit in a warm spot to infuse for about 10 days. After which you pour it into a spray bottle and use it as any other cleaning spray around the home.
Both rosemary and lavender are growing out in the front flowerbed. The lavender is just about to bloom. I’m totally going to try this.

It got me thinking about how the sugar-water in my hummingbird feeders is a clear liquid just like the clear liquid of the rosemary/lavender infused cleaning spray. One clear liquid is sweet and nourishing. The other clear liquid is antibacterial and cleansing.
In the same way, the Word of God is like the clear liquid in the hummingbird feeder – the Word of God is sweet and nourishing to our soul. While at the same time, the Word of God is like the clear antibacterial liquid of the rosemary/lavender cleaning spray – the Word of God cleanses and cleans.
The Word of God is sweet and nourishing to our soul.

The Word of God is like antibacterial cleanser which cleanses and cleans our soul.
