This is life.
Our path is hard.
Our path is rocky.
Our journey is difficult.
People along our pathway are “prickly!” Their words are “barbs” which hurt and wound! Their actions are “sharp” and painful!
It is hot!
Unlike the suggestion on this sign here, we don’t have the option of “going to the pool.” This is our path of life. We have no other option. We must walk the path of life God has given us to walk.

God wants us to grow in endurance.
God wants us to grow in perseverance.
God wants us to grow in our faith.
God wants us to grow in holiness.
God wants us to grow in the grace we show towards other people.
God wants us to grow in our knowledge of who He is! He is with us! He is right here on this hard, difficult path with us! God is for us! God is sustaining us! God is helping us! God will give us the strength to endure. God will give us the strength to persevere. This is who our God is!
