God instructs us in 1 Thessalonians 3:12: “May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other.”
Obviously, this is God’s will for us. So, this is what we pray!
“Oh my goodness … coming around the corner it’s not just a small town perched on the side of a barren dry hillside. The town stretches out clear across the top of the ridge! This is the way my life feels right now, God. There are so many people in my life who need love right now. I feel stretched so thin.
“God, please increase my love. I don’t have it. God, please give me your love … so that I can have enough love for everyone stretched all across the ridge of my life! God, please make my love increase and overflow for everyone who needs love right now.”
“God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all you need, you will abound in every good work.” – 2 Corinthians 9:8
This is what we pray!
“God, I trust that you will make all grace about to me, so that in all things at all times, I will have all that I need. God, I trust. God, I believe. Yes! And amen!”
