God instructs us in 1 John 4:19: “We love because he first loved us.”
Obviously this is God’s will for us. So, this is what we pray!
“God, please help me to love!
“God, I want to love. But God I am so parched and dry. Like this town perched on the hillside, my life feels parched and dry. Please God pour your love out into my life, so that I can love the people you have given me to love. Please God help me to love.”
God promises us: “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness.” – 2 Peter 1:3
So, this is what we pray!
“God, I trust. God, I believe. Yes! And amen!”
