Grateful for picking beans in the cool quiet of the early morning as the sun rises. Though it’s definitely a contest of wills this morning with the sun and the clouds battling it out! At the moment the clouds seem to be winning … though the sun is rallying for a comeback!
I would be remiss if I also didn’t mention how grateful I am for Costco’s disposable plastic gloves so I can pick up, by the handfuls, all the slugs feasting in my garden! Honestly, it’s amazing I got any beans at all this morning! I probably flung 50 slugs off into the ravine behind my house. May they have long prosperous lives … far away from my garden! (Ha!)
